I don't care how crazy this sounds but Pholicious has the most amazing bao bun sliders! I could easily order a few and make a hearty lunch. The pho is pretty good too, as well as the pork and shrimp bun. I like the servers at this location, they were so kind to me the other day. I stopped by for lunch and was helped by both the young guy and girl servers, and they were so helpful and attentive and courteous.

Also, the menu had been updated and is much more fluid. They only offer one size of pho now, but I don't see any issue with that.

I'm so distraught from visiting Pholicious Restaurant not even an half hour ago, (10585 Slater Ave 4 A, Fountain Valley, CA 92708) that I decided to yelp my experience right away.

Let's start off with my first experience with Vietnamese food. Pho Saigon Pearl in Costa Mesa, was my very first time eating it. The first time, I ordered the garlic noodles with pork/beef and shrimp spring rolls, the meal was expensive and not to my liking personally, but decided to give them another try due to an overall good experience. The 2nd time was the charm! I had a side of steamed veggies with pho chicken and broth. It was absolutely delicious along with the best broth ever in fact, but the prices are still pretty steep, so over time, I started visiting other Vietnamese restaurants to find food equally as delicious, especially the pho/broth, however less expensive. On one of such recent visits come along Pholicious. Now I've passed this restaurant at least 30 + times in the past couple of years. After reading the reviews, satisfied that today is the day I will order Pho from them. The beef stew pho was choose along with a mango smoothie (a personal favorite). When I received the food, opened it up, was surprised to see the noodles in an hard ball, added some of the stew juice to try and loosen it up. As for the stew, it was about 4 pieces of carrots, a few onions and straight oil from the beef, thick oil. All oil. As for the meat, it was three small chunks of untasteful beef, (a taste test worth size) and its mostly fat, along with chunks of literal FAT, hence, "oil stew".  The mango smoothie was the blandest one I ever tasted ever. I will not ever purchase from this restaurant again. Yelp, you let me down this time. $15.23 of pure nasty!

Small and cute establishment in Fountain Valley.
The place was rather busy with customers.  Maybe that's why but the food took forever to be served.  Pho and Rice plates came out very quickly but by the time my friends (ordered pho and rice plates) were nearly done eating, then my Crispy Noodles came out.  So that was why the 1 star off.

Food-wise, not too bad but the crispy noodle was not very crispy.  It was very soggy.  The presentation of the dish was very cute and appealing but the taste did not go well with it.  Sauce was rather salty and some veggies were raw.  My friends who had Pho said it was very good.  So perhaps should had eaten Pho...

Avocado smoothie was ok.  It was a bit flavorless but it was a ok smoothie.

First time here with my friends to try their pho challenge. It basically consisted of 3 large bowls in one. The amount of meat to noodles is pretty good so its not like youre eating only noodles the whole time even though it definitely feels like it. In total its about 6 lbs of food and costs roughly 30$. I ate about half and gave up near the 18 minute mark which is also the current record. None of us finished it and walked away sadly. The pho was very good though. Will I come back again? Only after training to take on their challenge again! Winning gives you a free meal and shirt

We've been coming here since 2005 and it's still our favorite spot for Pho in Fountain Valley. The owner is really nice and he always makes us feel at home when we visit. The place is decorated with a lot of style and that makes it fun and pleasant for dining in. It's my son's favorite place for Pho.
I had the Com Bo Luc Lac and it was very tender and the heart shaped rice was a nice touch.
